Had to read about that. Florida caves are dangerous due to sediment but wasnít informed on this wreck dive. I think youíre right. From an article.

Technical divers have found Oriskany to be more formidable than expected, and veteran cave divers have come back expressing awe at the challenges she presents. Significant penetrations are difficult and risky. PLEASE REMEMBER, DIVERS SHOULD NOT GO INSIDE THE SHIP WITHOUT PROPER TRAINING!!

Hey Tulsa, Mark and Cone! Yep, some new foster pups woke me up very early this am. But I have to be in town for a class this morning by nine, so it's letting me get a bunch of things done early.

I saw that, Tulsa. A retired Thai Seal. Those kids have to be so scared. It took so long to find them and then they're found and find out it's not just being found means they are out of the cave. And that poor 25 year old trying to keep it all together. A simple mistake and now all this. They're all in my prayers.

Passes a scrambled egg to Tulsa, a large platter of three chicken fried steaks w/gravy, biscuits w/gravy, hash browns, home fries, 6 eggs over medium, sausage & ham, fresh fruit and a pot of regular coffee to Mark and a large platter of Chicken fried steak, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, ham and cheese breakfast pockets, fried and scrambled eggs with turkey sausage and thick slices of honey ham, crispy homefries, and an extra large pot of coffee to Cone.

Aislinn's up way early, and she's already made breakfast! Yay!

I'll have Chicken fried steak, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, ham and cheese breakfast pockets, fried or scrambled eggs with turkey sausage and/or thick slices of honey ham, crispy homefries, and coffee - TYVM and keep the coffee mug handy!

Nice to see you made it back from internet oblivion Dr. Mark! DIving sounds like fun, but I'm to chicken to start at this age.

Good morning, afternoon and evening, everyjuan! I do not want to be up at this hour, yet here I am. But I don't have to go to work or anything, so no complaints. Maybe I'll take a nap later on... Yeah, right. LOL

Breakfast’s on the sideboard: Chicken fried steak, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, sweet potato pancakes with syrup, ham and cheese breakfast pockets, fried or scrambled eggs with turkey sausage and/or thick slices of honey ham, crispy homefries, waffles with syrup, banana bread, fresh fruit, yogurt, tea or coffee, flavored creamers to the side. Enjoy!

It's been pretty soggy here since I've been back. It looks like the sogginess will continue for at least another day or two.

Of course that means the heat and humidity will return, and I will be forced to retreat to CO where we only have massive forest fires to deal with.

    Howdy folks.

I think Dewey must have been messing around with the programming of The Bunker because I haven't been able to access it for almost a week for some reason or the other. It was something to do with security and certificate stuff.

I haven't gone away and never will until I take the dirt nap.

I'm back in Navarre working on the honey due list.

    Don't get me started.

Where is everyone? Oss, music please!!

You got me going on Bruno Mars. My 2year old grandson loves Uptown Funk and dances like crazy when I turn on the video. Only problem is I worry about him saying the lyrics at his school. He tends to leave the “N”out of funk.

I recall a rescue of some trapped miners via drilling like a 2' hole down to them. I wonder if that would be better if possible in this case? I have not kept up with details, so may we wasaay off base.

I'm panicking just thinking about it

Send the swirlie over to Squid ASAP Barkeep! Probably needs some sort of option #2 supplies as well - dry as a bone around there.
  29. Tulsahurrcane's Avatar
The other thing is if they are inexperienced divers they will stir up even more sediment making visibility even worse. I think 2 SEALS per cocooned child could get them out.

Yep Ais. If they try to dive them out unrestrained I predict a bad outcome. When you begin to panic your field of perception narrows dramatically. I have well over 1000 dives. Iím sure I would die in that cave. If the kids are unrestrained I think they could rip off masks and endanger rescuers. They need to be pulled out as packages. It would be traumatic but otherwise they will panic. I think they need restraint. If they can set up places where seals can get new tanks and keep them half knocked out I think they have the best chance.
