I love how all these guys are so skeptical unless the Euro shows something. They hype when the Euro only hints at something. The GFS certainly has problems but it seems like #Twitterwx completely ignores it in favor of the Euro, which is far from perfect too. (I speak heresy but it had to be said - d**n the consequences)

Big Joe thinks we have some gulf mischief coming up NEXT WEEK!

Unlike early June, MJO in more favorable phases so building pressures/heights over NE US, falling pressures eastern/central ATL with positives over western Caribbean force attention to around FLA in 7-10 days, ECMWF now seeing lowering pressure there too.

    Morning Blakels!

We have similar boat parties on the intracoastal down here and they are packed with drunken underage boat driving morons. Quite dangerous, but there's lots of eye candy if you are so brave enough to get out there

Good Morning everyone. It's Jobbie Nooner Friday. It's a massive all day boat party on Lake St. Clair. Supposed to rain and be upper 60s so I'm not going. Once you get in there it's very difficult to get out.

    Good Morning Bunkerites!

The ATL. may be the coldest in decades, but the air temps. around here sure aren't. Wheweee it was smokin' hot yesterday afternoon before the storms moved in.

Now that the TT has wound down it's back to the usual summer weather in the US and there's no DOOM on the models. Time for the July doldrums.

Yep Cos. I remember burning toast, but prunes? They must have been mixed with habanero peppers!

I think we would all End Up remembering that within 24 hours!

Onward and upward WeatherBunker wise(thanks to Dewey).
Dewey, you can expect my normal contribution to arrive post-haste, via the usual carrier. It's the best I can do atm, I'd contribute more if you took bitcoin

I'm alive. Someone must have a voodoo doll wishing weather harm on me. Wet microburst on 5-13-16 (A Friday the 13th), Marley's Revenge, The Icky B, April 3" hail storm (roof gets replaced tomorrow) then today another wet microburst with trees and power poles down in the area knocking me off grid for 7 hours. I shall persevere if work doesn't kill me first.

Plates or coins way better than Candy bars.

Be sure to include a "Certificate of Authenticity".

KKKiddd, Thanks for the video. I noticed in the second stanza he had about 4 Corona bottles next to the chair. Next stanza he was drinking from a cocktail cup. ...and in the last few shots he had progressed to a half empty bottle of Pussers Rum. Kenny gets it.
I noticed near the beginning of the song he gives the ol' Hawaiian "Suck 'em up and Hang Loose" hand signal, too.

Never heard that song before and I kinda like Kenny Chesney.

Somewhere in there Tulsa gets kidnapped by drug cartels for making imitation Sumatran Cotton for her T-shirts.
And Leave it to me Landfall! I can see that happening to me. I would somehow stumble into it by clicking on the wrong thing at the wrong time.

Good morning everyjuan, The Texas Troublemaker™ may be dying down but its not finished yet. It's still cloudy and raining sporadically here. The Weather Bucket™ is up to 7 inches over the last 4 days.
You can turn it off now!

We are going to see Kenny at Ford Field on August 4th. He used to do the shows at Comerica Park which was nice when the weather cooperated but it was risky.

Not every Juan can double post with the flair and grace with which you accomplish it. It is good to see that you "own" it!

I haven't been out west since February, even then I took I 70 sraight back from Jeffville USA. I took pictures of Castle Rock when I went through on the interstate. I looked hard, but I didn't see Jeff.

I might be going to Utah or Texas in a few weeks. Then I might pass through OK, Ok? Although you may be elsewhere as there seems to be no moss on your rolling stone.

I have been in SWFL for about a week and got to see a lot of my old friends every night. Lots of free beer for me, but now, my digestive system is rebelling against me and has prompted me to avoid alcoholic beverages. So, last night, I begged off from another invitation to imbibe freely from the "intoxication bowl" something that seems to be, or at least should be, a crime. But, after the rum drinks on the beach (Thanks Bart for the commentary and illustration, it reminds me of a song from Kenny Chesney another chair on a beach on St John USVI) everything after that was anticlimactic and vapid and didn't taste nearly as good) the beer didn't taste nearly as good.

I am glad to see Dewey is back with a vengeance! You GO boy!

Maybe we will hear some tales of "derring do" from the real life Dewey who is more than just a blog hoster, but a real severe weather aficionado among other things. Here he may be Clark Kent, but in real life...

    Yeah. That guy...sort of.

Here is the song about the chair.

With a Nino coming on and the frigid ATL., hopefully we won't see any IB's or Maria's this season. Going to have to watch close in though - GOM is........ Rocket Fuel!
