Granpotato/Grandpato...ah, good days. Looks a little uncertain if we'll have those blogs and characters. They seem to be going through a polar beta phi kappa vortex over there. An extreme weather identity crisis.
    .
On the weather front we actually do, unless we don't, have some unprededented weather heading to NW SEFL anyway. Starting Thursday I'll have at least 10 continuous days when it stays under 70 as the high. 40-50 at night. Nothing extreme, except for being extremely welcome and nice. And historic.
    .
Super Bowl.....Broncos-49's would be great. My 2 favorite teams apart from the morbid interest in the hometown choking dogs. What a game that would be. I'd lean to the Broncos. Weather might be a factor with the Super Bowl in New Jersey/Philadelphia?
    .
If it turns out to be NE-Seattle I'll be betting on horse racing from Australia during the super bowl.

Good morning, afternoon and evening, everyone. It's 55 degrees and pouring outside. I saw direct tv users will lose TWC this month, starting today I think? I know a lot of people make fun of it, but I do watch it, especially during hurricanes. (And obviously others do also or they wouldn't know who or what to make fun of?)

Saturday: Breakfast's on the sideboard: steak, eggs and hash browns, Belgian waffles with strawberries or powdered sugar, croissants, creamy oatmeal with blueberries, egg and sausage casserole, cinnamon streusel coffee cake, omelets with cheese, mushrooms, peppers and diced ham or bacon, sausage patties or bacon, thick slices of fried honey ham, eggs sunny side up or easy over, cheesy grits and shrimp, cheese Danishes, yogurt, fresh fruit and orange, apple or pineapple juice. Regular and decaf coffee with flavored creamers to the side. Enjoy!

As an outsider looking in , from what I gather Direct TV own weather Nation and have launched a channel of their own , and I gather comcast are connected to TWC .and neither are going to provide the oppositions channel . Therefore if you want TWC you have to change providers . Probably Direct TV have jumped too quickly before Weather nation is properly established . But I say good luck to them .. TWC have taken upon themselves to name Some of my winter storms and pretend it was the Met office that did Re Storm at the end of October . I did not like that !

I was reading Cos's comment about the weather coming up here, and yes it is going to be quite a long spell of chilly weather! I hate riding when it's below 60, makes my eyes water something fierce, so I hope they are a little bit wrong!

Time to take a lead from Cantore and invest in some goggles.

Winter will be settling in for awhile here as well. A prolonged period of highs in the 50's/60's and lows in the 30's/40's with potential frosts/freezes........and no rain in sight after the little system moves through tonight/tomorrow.

I have thought about goggles, but I would need them to be prescription as I can't see a darned thing without correction. I've never looked into those, but I'm giving it some serious thought!

Good morning, afternoon and evening, everyone. A chilly 37 degrees though it's supposed to warm up to 67. I'll wear a winter coat anyway just in case it doesn't.

Breakfast's on the table: cheesy grits and shrimp, regular or whole wheat English muffins with poached egg whites, low fat cheese, ham, tomato and sauce, whole wheat pancakes with fruit sauce, egg burritos with cheese and chorizo, Belgian waffles with strawberries or powdered sugar, croissants, bagels with cream cheese and strawberry jelly or lox, cheese Danishes, yogurt, fresh fruit and orange, apple or pineapple juice. Regular and decaf coffee with flavored creamers to the side. Enjoy!
