To paraphrase Cone:

Spring has sprung, and fall has fell
And poor ol' Yoop is living in he77.

Atmo has inspired me to give us a place to post our flower and foliage pics.

I'll be back later to embellish, but feel free to get started without me!

March 2015

Oncidium Orchid

Phalaenopsis Orchids hanging under a Surinam Cherry Tree (Yes, we used to eat the cherries when we are little--but they can have worms in them!!!)

Bloom from a Devil's Backbone

Pink Pineapples/Bromeliads ( Yes, you can eat them, but I wouldn't--they are very bitter!)

The amaryllis are on the west side of the house so they get afternoon sun. Most of the year they also get passing shade from the nearby maple tree. They receive minimal attention from me (as with most of my landscaping ) but seem to do OK. I divided a couple of the older plants that formed new bulbs. I have red, pink and red/white stripe ones. I got the red ones from Walmart (heresy, I know) and I think the others were gifts.

I saw on aqua's blog that you have ground orchids. Do you know if they are available in any garden centers around here? I rescued some zombie orchids from Walmart that are doing great now and kind of got a little of the orchid bug. I even went to a recent orchid show in PSL recently and bought a pretty orange one. They are all in bloom now so I'll have to get a pic or two.

Oooops, I am derelict in my duties.

I bought those ground orchids so long ago I can't remember where I got them.

If mine go nuts with pups, I will let you know. You don't live that far.
