February is the last month of deep winter for most of the country, although here in S. Fl. Spring begins this month. Plenty of time for snoh almost anywhere else.

The the 3 month outlook has spring starting early for a good part of the south. The southeast and Fl. will remain dry if this verifies.

Severe season could start at any time in the south, so keep tuned in just in case Cupid decides to launch an attack!

MARTIN COUNTY — Heavy showers coming from the Bahamas created a historic deluge in eastern Martin County early Tuesday, flooding some roads and making up for virtually no rainfall earlier in the month.

A total of 5.09 inches fell in Port Salerno early Tuesday, far surpassing the day's prior record of 1.50 inches in 1998, according to the National Weather Service in Melbourne.

Stuart got 4.90 inches and Jensen Beach received 2.93 inches, records showed.

The rain largely fell on parched earth. Until Monday, Martin County had 23 days of no rain during the month's 28 days. Rainfall had totaled less than an inch, about a third of what usually falls, which is 3.20 inches, records showed. February is part of the annual dry season.

Very localized rain though. I had just a little drizzle that barely wet the ground. Don't think there was much rain west of Palm City/Turnpike.

Yes LF. I visit that site and Drudgereport.com daily as they do a fairly good job vetting fake news out. In fact, those sites usually have half a day on most news sites.

Good afternoon. My imgur won't rehost this afternoon thus I must share a dynamic loop that may show a clear radar by the time juan views based on their practices. Storms are firing in MO and should intensify as they approach the mod risk area. The storm on track to pass south of St Louis looks like a player.

Which begs the question: where's Mark?

Thanks OSS, I will consider your offer. I am running out of time before the next job and the folks here are trying to put a square peg into a round hole. They ignore my solution and keep calling for more grease and bigger hammers. they thiink everything can be solved with a simple solution, which is to say that Occam's Razor rules. Occam apparently had no knowledge of women or even knew OF them. But in any case, I find things easier to manage if you stick to the principles of the original designer and not try to redesign a part of something because the part may be to expensive or because you don't understand it.

So I feel like the fabled Don Quixote De La Mancha.

    Dang windmills!

    Speaking of...

    No..

    Where's Mark?

Good morning esteemed colleague. I's right here.

Since it was an unseasonably warm day I spent yesterday fishing from the Navarre Beaching Pier. The water temps are still a little too cold for good fishing, but I felt the need to rub elbows and bond with other retired old codgers which is what I did. It won't be long before the pompano move in. It will be more interesting when that occurs.

You have Juance again illustrated why your weather forecasting and prognosticating is held in such high regard. I, for Juan, have noticed that despite staying unsafe and being unsafe you have relocated yourself to Orlando in time to avoid the DOOM that has descended on your TN neighbors.

While you are rubbing elbows with severely sunburned European tourists in unfashionable makeshift warm weather attire, your TN neighbors have suffered tremendously and have been reduced to drooling quivering shells of their former selves.

You have shown Juance againwhy you merit your Doctorate in Fake Blog Met Science.

I on the other hand obtained mine with a highly dubious study of the correlation of frog noise to thunderstorm activity. Oh well, the NSF grant was there for the taking so I made the most of it. Who can blame me.

    Well done Sir.
