Everyone knows that April is the heart of severe weather season and that being out in such weather can be severely foolish.

The SPC maps promise to be colorful this month….

National radar and Satellite as well…..

Just remember one thing before you head out the door...

Good for you, I hope you can figure it out and do well with it. It's the same here, I could almost get away from cable, but I like it for sports, especially college football and you just can't get it(or nearly as much without it). Maybe you could with a Sling or something like it, but your still paying for what you want, maybe able to save a bit. I haven't looked into it as I would probably have to many channels to save much. My kids don't have cable and are just fine without it.

Good morning and afternoon, everyjuan! Lib and MSGAL! So glad to see you guys!

I have considered my DOOM-O-Cast very seriously. I thought about moving the Bunker to my backyard as it's underground. However, since I'm in a flash flood watch, going underground during a flood might not be the wisest of ideas. I am now debating the merits of either the Ark or the Party barge.

Breakfast's on the sideboard: English muffins with poached egg whites, cheese, ham, tomato and sauce, crepes filled with cream cheese and strawberries, topped with whipped cream, eggs and hash browns, Crawfish Breakfast Enchiladas with and without cheese, chili onion oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit and orange, apple or pineapple juice. Tea, Regular and decaf coffee with flavored creamers to the side. Enjoy!

I see that Dear Lib made a rare drive by visit.

Leftenant Nodar says that DOOM will cometh our way about noon tomorrow. The 06Z NAM confirms it so we can take that to the bank.

    Morning Aislinn & Dr. Mark!

Lib was around for a little while this morning, so nice to chat with her.

Aislinn - I think you might need Juan of these. It's going to take anything the weather can throw at it and gives you the added bonus of being able to blast any looters that might decide to take advantage of others misfortune....

    BreakFast!

I'll have some eggs and hash browns and coffee - TYVM and hunker down!

I am liking Vettel this year ( A german now settled at Ferrari spells trouble for the field) .... Just a feeling in my bones ... Do think its a shame that Rosberg retired ... but I think it will be close this year ...

Hey has DJ or D been about ?

    G' Morning all!

It's great to see some of our less frequent this morning. Hiya! (Waves at Lib and MSGal.)

Not sure what a Limpkin sounds like, but they probably look pretty good roasted on a bed of steamed rice and vegetables.

" A guy can really express himself with ... " Dr. Mark, that sure sounds familiar. It may not be a movie quote it might be a lyric. Sounds like something Clint Eastwood would say in a Western. No cookies for me, but Dagnabbit that sounds familiar.

Bad stuff moving in over the next 24 - 36. I'll be sure to wear my seat-belt.

Roasted Limpkin, with cajun rice and vegetables.

I agree. I've thought that Hamilton and Vettel are the class of all the drivers the last few years and it appears that Ferrari has made great strides in leveling the playing field. It will be fun if there is actually competition in F-1 for a change and it looks like that may actually be the case.

Hey all! Love checking back in and seeing so many! I'm doing great, Lib, loving retirement! Hope all is going well your way, too!

Love the new ship, needs a name. Hmmm. Battle Barge? Ready to battle the worst of the weather? A few drinks in the bar, aim those guns and see who can shoot the lightening?

Passes Mark a platter filled with eggs, hash browns, enchiladas, fresh fruit, orange juice and a pot of regular coffee and Cone one filled with eggs and hash browns and a pot of coffee.

The "A guy can really express himself" is an original quote from myself. I first used it after I was inducted into the Army. After they tested us for aptitude they asked me (and everybody else) what Army job we wanted. I told them I wanted to be a tank commander. I had scored very high on the aptitude test and they told me that they were not going to waste a troop with high aptitude by putting me in a tank. They asked me why I wanted to that. I told them "A guy can really express himself in Juan of those". They all laughed and sent me to Army Aviation. Almost everybody else was put in the infantry regardless of what they wanted and sent to SE Asia as cannon fodder.

Okay cool, I'll go with that. It just sounds so derned familiar. I dunno, I may have heard it from some of my acquaintances.

BTW. Aviation a wise choice. Read a couple of books about it from vets. "ChickenHawk" comes to mind. Also the one by/for Carlos Hathcock (can't remember the title offhand). Thanks for your service.

We didn't have any "choice" in those days. If you were drafted they put you where they wanted to. I was very lucky. Although being in an assault helicopter company was anything but safe, it was much better than being in the infantry. I was the only guy in my basic training platoon that didn't go into the infantry. Most of the others were killed or wounded within 6 months.

Lib, have you looked at putting Kodi on a Firestick? Works pretty good and there is tons of stuff available including soccer I think.

Bart, that thing puts out about 130 decibels at 50'. Nobody would probably even hear Cone's shot

Edit, a quick peek around provided this.
