May: Time for a change?

May usually brings a transition from severe season to summer and The Season™ . Severe season can’t end soon enough this year. Hopefully the SPC map will start to calm down.

I would like to see a change to more rain for Florida and get some of it out of the Mid West.

CPC is thinking it's going to be extra warm for the next few months, it's summer so no real change there.

Whatever happens, we’re all on this flight together and let’s just hope she stays in the air for another month!

The showers are fly-bys, but the top 2 bowls of The Fountain Rain Gauge are full and the bottom has a few inches of rain in it.

Good to see Scoos back on board. He may have to dust off the music blog.

LF seems to have the ATL firehouse pointed her direction. More incoming drencheroo's?

I'm watching that area Cone. My elderly folks live in Fort Madison. All clear thus far as the storm motion is off to the NNE/NE and the current juans slide by to their west.

Bald Eagles (the birds) migrate to Keokuk during the winter. Beautiful to see them.

Nauvoo, IL has a long history for the Mormons. Big temple there visited annually. I walked through the area juance or twice but never been inside the temple. Historic Nauvoo

Good morning and afternoon, everyjuan! A warm 71 muggy morning so far. Yesterday had a beautiful cool breeze that made being outside a great place to be. We won't be having too many more nice days like that I'm sure.

Breakfast's on the sideboard: Eggs Benedict with asparagus and a creamy shrimp sauce, banana fritters, creamed chipped beef or sausage gravy over biscuits, cheesy grits with shrimp, candied chunks of ham and sweet potato casserole, omelets with cheese, mushrooms, peppers and dice ham or bacon, choice of blueberry, chocolate chip or buttermilk pancakes with syrup, grapefruit, melons and other fresh fruit, choice of juices, reg and decaf coffee with milk or creamer and sugar to the side. Enjoy!

    Morning HCat & Aislinn!

I hope T is paying attention to the weather today, it could get dicey out there.

I'll have some creamed chipped beef over biscuits and coffee - TYVM Aislinn!

    Good morning EveryJuan.

It is 81, whomid, and cloudy. I think the rain is a fizzle, though the Mobile radar is showing some organized ground clutter 60 or so miles west of me moving west of west.

We did get our walk in this morning, and did water some of the flowers.

Now for some breakfast, I would like a big stack of buttermilk pancakes, apple juice, and black coffee.

Hey Kaiden! I'm debating watering mine, looks like rain, but no rain and sun comes out. I'll probably just water tonight.

Beh, are all local radars down? WU's seem to be. Not a good time on a high risk day.

Saddened by the loss of Chris Cornell if anyjuan enjoys/enjoyed 90's rock/alt music. I grew up with this. RIP. Good unplugged version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3Qjk9LqDvw

5:13pm- Multiple tornadic storms across central Kansas. #kswx #thinkweather

Hi peeps! Yep theyre amok. Hit near Sayre and Elk city yesterday, my old hometown and most of family still there. Elk City Nader was blocks from my sisters house. Supposed to be another night of it. I think a tornado hit near Cordell and "hen egg" size hail in Granite this afternoon. I think the worst is west of Tulsa. If I lived in Moore I'd find someone to visit tonight.
