The Season has arrived and it’s time to start looking for mischief in the Caribbean and GOM for early season rain makers and hopefully not much more.

Be Prepared to BS/SS and practice those option #2 protocols and study up on the map of DOOM....

    Fraid some kind of vermin may find Cheetos out there, so I will find a good hidie hole in the house for them.

    Not to much scouring going on here, but it can use a good flushing after tourist season.

    New NAM shows why the Ark and Party Barge are going to be needed....

    HA! I am just down the street from you in the "Springs."
    You may still have it, but we want to see more of it.

    The ECF has been on the fritz. So could you send Mark the spare parts you have. Lt
    Nodar is on a bender, so Mark has been manning the controls alone.

    It has also been nearly impossible to establish a quorum on the DOOM:CON Board Of Directors.

    Do not be caught napping.
    A well executed CLEAR THE SHELVES ADVISORY should always be given with a disclaimer that it should have been issued 6 hours earlier.
    This will insure that the desired panic state will be reached sooner and with more intensity than the normal advisory.
    Panic=Motivator
    Motivation=Action
    Action=Lives saved.
    Nuff said.

    I was just informed the other day as I was talking to the pharmiscyst at Wally world, that the beer sold here in CO is 3.2 beer. WTF? (why the face?) No wonder I could drink a gallon of it with no effect!
    How can Jeff live here?
    Well, maybe he is OTW. (On the wagon) If he is, it saves money on option #2 supplies.
    Although leaving more 3.2 beer for every Juan else, the gesture would not be interpreted as magnanimous. Like leaving your American Motors Matador for your son to drive while in college. It will still function as transportation, but no chicks can be gotten by use of it.
    I just hope Jeff knows what he is into, that's all. He may be safe from hurricanes here, but the "nutjob" per capita ratio is much higher here and also the homeless sign wielding (hungry, anything helps God bless) bums who enjoy camping in your back yard when you are not home quotient is higher. I will not even mention the weed wackos here. Ooops! I already did.

    Jeff, we hardly knew ye!

    The stuff sold in 7-11s is 3.2 beer. You can buy real beer in liquor stores. Not sure why 3.2 beer even still exists. At one time CO had a 21 drinking age, but those 18-20 could legally buy and possess 3.2 beer. The Feds strong armed the state so that nobody under 21 could legally drink anything or the Feds were going to cut off all federal funds to the state.

    For some reason known but to GOD and establishment pukes 3.2 beer remains.

    First mention of invest 93L in our NWS AFD...

    Thursday through Sunday...The upper trough lifts out late in
    the week as upper ridging tries to build over the SE coast.
    Complicating the forecast is the potential tropical moisture
    feed from a Tropical system expected to form in the Gulf
    . This
    would maintain the threat for a decent coverage of showers and
    Thunderstorms late week which could be further enhanced if the
    next weak cold front drifts south into the area. Thus will need
    to increase PoPs from 20-30% Thursday to near climo (around 40%)
    Friday through the weekend
    . Seasonably warm temps are expected
    with highs around 90 inland to mid 80s coast and lows in the
    70s.

    DOOM may not yet be nigh, but any self-respecting FBM can read between the lines in that discussion. The NWS is scared to death of this thing!

    The consensus does seem to be shifting to the east.
