It’s hard to imagine that we have not reached the peak of the season after what Harvey has done, but up we go!

The NHC is going to be busy, at least to start the month...

Let's just hope we can make it through the rest of the month without any more mischief hitting land!

LC I can't copy the right link for some reason but I found your webcam.

WATCH Bali volcano Mount Agung live as terrifying seismograph readings show dramatic earthquakes leaving Bali residents in fear an imminent eruption – watch live Seismograph graphs from Bali.

It says watch the volcano live but if you read carefully you are watching the terrifying seismograph readings live. Makes for a long day.

Sounds like the recipe for an interesting weekend, if you can remember what happened

Slow night tonight. It's OK, I'm busy painting a bookcase zebra striped for new baby room so I can't be bothered with hurricanes and volcanoes anyway. Leopards are helping with the project a great deal and will be faux zebra striped leopards soon. Good night all!

Slow did not happen on this end. Had to tear down and reseat the connectors in the guts of my daughters Iphone 6 while trying to watch football! No more Apple permitted ever again!

Who was playing anyhow? All I had was the kicker from GB.

    Good Morning Bunkerites!

NHC is not to bullish on development from the mess to our south and east - only a 40% chance.....

I think there will be more mischief from down there - NEXT WEEK!

...and safe travels to Triple K! I'm sure he's en route by now.

I know Cone .... the Good news is between previous storms and fronts less IR possibilities ,,,, But South of Cuba is when Threats mostly Emerge for the rest of Season and its neat boiling with no storms really having come through there ...

    Morning Dr. Mark & Lib!

Had a massive dose of tinkle sprinkle on my ride this morning, just a harbinger of the to come.

I see those two and they look like they are heading for you Lib, but hopefully they won't do anything but rain, hard to tell from over here.

South Fl. BlackDar is getting busy this morning....

Good morning, afternoon and evening, everyjuan! I am not so patiently waiting for October and cooler weather.

Breakfast’s on the sideboard: scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, biscuits and sausage gravy, brioche French toast with butter and syrup, bagels with cream cheese and lox, cheesy ham and hash brown casserole, Potato pancakes, thick slices of honey ham, breakfast veggie burritos, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit skewers, tea or coffee. Enjoy!

    Morning Aislinn!

It's going to happen sooner or later, but I think we have another round of tropical mischief to get through before it happens down here. I hope I'm wrong.

    BreakFast!

I'll just have some biscuits and sausage gravy, and coffee - TYVM!

    Hmmmmm............OK

Lee has been downgraded and Maria is "racing" NEward to console him and then, together, wreak havoc on poor Lib.

Meanwhile, the Dos Equis south of FL are bringing a dose of eeewwwwmidity. And rain.

    That is all.

    Good day EveryJuan!

Met up with Ais yesterday. Had a great lunch, then daughter and I brought home a rescue GSD puppy. It's about a 5 hr drive give or take traffic. We covered the entire back of the van with paper and blankets anticipating the worst (I mean wurst). Pup fell asleep on daughters lap within 5 minutes and slept most of the way. Oh, he snores.

I told ya that to tell ya this:

So far we here in the Bunker are fortunate to have a virtual plethora of services, information and technical sometimes non-technical experts available at our fingertips. We have breakfasts, cooks, gardeners, book and movie reviews, fantastic tech support, bartenders, sports authorities, etc... And even many more I can't immediately recall. Well, in addition to all our other side benefits, the Weather Bunker now has a mascot.

    Meet "BUNKER".

Oh McBart, how wonderful! You will never regret getting a GSD. And what a great name!

    WELCOME, BUNKER!!!

I still cannot bring my self to get another animal after losing my GSD and 2 cats in the last 4 years. I miss the Shep the most.

Thank you LF, yes I know. I've had 3 over the years. This makes #4. GSDs are incredible.

I must compliment Ais and her rescue crew. This is an absolutely fantastic pup. Health, disposition, willing to learn, and is already socializing very well. A bit on the under-weight (He is a 'rescue') but that is only temporary. He is eating and drinking ravenously. The only question now is...

Just how big is this thing gonna get?

LOL--Well, he's probably gonna get bigger than my 80 lb. female!!! Then it is a matter of who is walking who.

Congrats Barkeep. Based on the size of his legs/paws I will venture a guess he's going to get pretty darn big - and fast!

    Thanks St.Aug.

I'm going to train him to piddle on a Ouija board, for model prognostication during "the season™". As the Bunker Mascot he has to contribute somehow. I wonder if I could teach him to mix the Bunker Marys on Sunday? Perhaps we'll start with something simpler, like beer retrieval from a closed fridge.
