It’s hard to imagine that we have not reached the peak of the season after what Harvey has done, but up we go!

The NHC is going to be busy, at least to start the month...

Let's just hope we can make it through the rest of the month without any more mischief hitting land!

Good morning, afternoon and evening, everyjuan! Dry for here is good. They are now saying that the Sabine River should crest and start to go down in about 48 hours and that the flooding here should start to end by next weekend. It will be nice to not get flood warning alerts every four hours around the clock on my phone. Someone tell the forecasters to stop moving Irma a little bit more west.

Six gallons of milk, Cone? Ack! I save apple juice jugs, cat litter jugs, sweet tea jugs. First two plus two plastic bins are for the dogs, we use the sweet tea jugs. One plastic bin is for dipping small dogs into if they start to overheat.

Breakfast’s on the sideboard: Cheesy ham and hash brown casserole, orange-cinnamon rolls, brown butter crab benedict with hollandaise sauce, mini bacon quiches, spiced shrimp with mango and cilantro, grilled chicken and fruit salad, lobster frittata, French toast with caramelized apples, tea or coffee. Enjoy!

It is unfortunate that we no longer have the services of P's legendary cloud shaming abilities.

Also, the late model TRS80 I am currently using does not have the ability to access the 06Z NAM, the Cadillac of all weather models.

    This does not bode well.

    Morning Aislinn & T!

I probably should have bought more, Juan can never have to many empty milk jugs. I do feel bad about dumping out the milk

Better have some breakfast before mode sets in around here.....

I'll have some Cheesy ham and hash brown casserole, and coffee - TYVM and enjoy that dry weather!

That is truly a shame and does not bode well. The Lesser Antilles may become the Much Lesser Antilles.

Cone, cows across the land are moooaning over that spilt milk!!

Mark, I searched the pantry, the press, the back room and the closets, no buckets other than the one used for mopping and the ones used in the crates for food and water for the dogs. I figure you'd rather a platter. MSGAL, I totally agree! I went on a five year hiatus after Ike and Gustav and it worked. I like your ten year one better.

Passes Cone a platter of Cheesy ham and hash brown casserole, and a pot of coffee and Mark a huge platter of cheesy hand and hash brown casserole.

Son is going out on the boat today, went to BJ's to get a few things. Said the lines are backed up almost to the back of the store.

PS If you say Campeche in Spanish, the "e" is a long "a"--Campaychay. If you say it in English, it is how it looks--all long "e"--Campeechee. If you belong to the Bunker, it is Bay of Canned Peaches.

    Did I clear that up?
