Oct./Nov. – Peace & Quiet or Doom and Gloom?

Down we go and we can’t get to the bottom soon enough! It’s been a long season for many people and it’s going to take a long time for them to recover.

Oct. can be busy in the Caribbean with the storms heading to the north and the early indications are that we will see some activity in that area early to mid month.

All we can do is keep watching and be as ready as we can….

Time to study “The Chart” and hope that we can get Homer to the bottom without any more DOOM days.

Mark is really working this thing. He must be exhausted and when a storm gets his attention I' worry.

My company came as expected. My company is not leaving as expected. Do you ever say "you really should just stay another night" but not really have your whole heart in it? Sometimes I do.

Edit: I've been doing crafts with the child who prefers to be thought precocious but I'm not offering an opinion. I am clearly not precocious. I have forgotten how to remove superglue from juans hands. The tube was split and is everywhere. I have no fingerprints but my thumb and index finger are working independently again.

If it's my kids I just hide, anyJuan else, more of the same Probably why I don't get much company.

Compared to Wilma this is just a minor breeze - might take the umbrella out of a drink or two, but it'll be beautiful there tomorrow. Folks just need to hang on to the glass and all will be well.

I need to drive Mama & Mama in Law to Mobile tomorrow. The drive home through the rain bands should be fun. They are boarding a cruise ship at noon and sailing at 4 pm for the Yuckytan and then on to Cozumel.

Mama & Mama in Law will be okay as they are seasoned boat crew, but I'm sure it will be barfarama on the boat for many of the land lubbers. I feel sorry for the crew who will have to clean up that mess.

The Burger Barge has evacuated Crab Island.

That does not bode well. We're in deep kimchi now.

In the interest of public sanity, Bunker Station SELA is releasing the following list of preparation plans for this little PITA storm. The list is as follows:

    [This page intentionally left blank]

Please implement all above immediately or sooner. Rush to completion or exhaustion whichever comes first. That is all.

You may now return to your regularly scheduled doom and panic.

Hey all. I am in the mountains of NC. I will be heading back to the coast early in the morning and be home about One PM. I gain an hour at the GA/AL line. I would stay up here but Dee is home.

My sister called my brother and I up here because my Dad took a turn to the wurst, but he is holding his own and they said he probably would not gain consciousness again. He is 97.

Dee stayed home because she had 2 Doctor Appointments Wed and Thur. But got good reports on here heart, waiting on the C/T scan reports next week. She was diagnosed with early stages of bladder cancer a few weeks ago.

I will be careful driving home and set up the southeast Mississippi Weather Bunker Bunker.

I will be trying to get back to regular posting soon.

Still think Nate becomes a Hurricane & suggest up to 95mph (in small quad) at that. However inability to close off notable.
