Stick a fork in it, The Season of DOOM is over! Now it’s time to sit back by the fire and enjoy the Frosty days ahead, or not.
Long term predictions from the CPC are showing the south to be warm and dry through the winter…..

As we well know, it only takes one deep cold intrusion to freeze everything solid, especially in S. Fl. We’ll have to keep an eye on the radar and hope no blue blobs make it too far south.

Abominable weather ahead? I guess we'll just have to Bumble along to find out!

Good morning, afternoon and evening, everyjuan! It's a whole 28 degrees this morning. Local mets are calling for ice on Tuesday? Cone, I think they read your breakfastcast! They must have realized you've been more accurate than they and now are watching for what you forecast!

Breakfast’s on the sideboard: BLT egg bake, strawberry banana crepes, Broccoli ham quiche, mushroom sausage strata, green chili breakfast burrito casserole, sausage potato pie, creamed beef over toast, sausage, pepper and mushroom hash, sausage, gravy and egg sandwiches, donut bites, fresh fruit, tea or coffee. Enjoy!

    Morning Aislinn!

The Bunker Knows Best™ The Cadillac of models has a hint of some iciness in your vicinity.....

All this cold air is making me hungry - time for breakfast!

I'll have BLT egg bake, Broccoli ham quiche, mushroom sausage strata, green chili breakfast burrito casserole, sausage potato pie, creamed beef over toast, sausage, pepper and mushroom hash, sausage, gravy and egg sandwiches, and what a breakfast it is - wow! I'll need more than coffee to recover from that! After my food coma wears off I'll wander over to the Barkeeps place for something to kick it up a notch. Have a great day and stay inside if you can - Brrr!

Hey Cone, yes, a lot of the tearing out has been done. Servpro did most of it as we weren't allowed. We're working on the stuff they allowed us to do. There's sevens room total, three bathrooms and the hallway. Last estimate for damage was over 50 thousand. Insurance told us over phone we'd get 15 thousand, but since the insurance adjuster was there and directing servpro to tear out more walls we think that will go up. It had better!!

Passes huge platter of BLT egg bake, Broccoli ham quiche, mushroom sausage strata, green chili breakfast burrito casserole, sausage potato pie, creamed beef over toast, sausage, pepper and mushroom hash, sausage, gravy and egg sandwiches.

Crawling out of my weatherbunker. False alarm. I realize Hawaii is a ways off but no use taking chances. It was a good drill anyway. I’m missing several items needed for an extended stay. Shopping list: sudoku puzzles, another giant battery, ice maker, lead liner for my shelter, liquor (misc), replacement iPhone battery, porta potty. Cheetos, water and slim Jim’s are in place. But I need a cork screw and some squishier pillows. That’s all I can think of so far. Any advice? . I would hate to be the person that hit hit send on that alert.

Oh Geez, I forgot toilet paper. Stocking it now. Disaster averted.

    Hi T!

Nope, you have not left anything out if you are thinking that surviving is going to be a good thing. I personally feel that just lighting Juan up(not that I have access to that sort of thing anymore) and watching the cloud would be the best option(probably option #3). Can you imagine the aftermath even if you did survive?????

I'm all in for the big Juan - if I had Juan....

Ha ha ha on lighting one up!! Agreed. Denver may be the best place for a nuclear watch party.
I don’t smoke so I’m going with the cookies and gummy worms. Unfortunately I don’t think they have cannabis Snickers. That might be a business opportunity though.

We need our Bunker DJ to come up with something appropriate!

Possibly Bob Marley. “Don’t Worry. Be Happy”? Or It’s the end of the world as we know it. Just kidding guys. Sort of.

I'm in! However I would probably eat all the profits. Snicker's is my favorite, so I would be permanently toasted.

Oh my. No one move! If you need to go to the bathroom use the back lavatory. Not that anyone didn’t involuntarily “go” already.

Good morning, afternoon and evening, everyjuan! My youngest son has a friend in Hawaii who screenshot him the alert when it happened, said it was total chaos of people thinking it was real for at least 30 minutes.

Sneaux? I like sneaux. I want sneaux! We keep getting conflicting forecasts as to how much. Yours is the correct one. They need to check the bunker before forecasting more.

Breakfast’s on the sideboard: beignets, apple pie pancakes, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs with pieces of bacon and shrimp, poached eggs with alligator sausage, grillades and grits, Cajun fried ride with crawfish, green onion sausage, crème brulee pain perdu, andouille sausage Cajun scramble, fresh fruit, tea or coffee, flavored creamers. Enjoy!

I'll bet there are going to be quite a few seats that need to be tossed - probably a little ripe in there

    Hey Cone and Tulsa,
My first thought as well, how many heart attacks actually happened?
I'm heading a couple of hours south today to temperament test two six month old working line German Shepherds. I think I'll dress warmly since I can't spend the day in front of a fire.

Passes Cone a large platter of biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs with pieces of bacon and shrimp, poached eggs with alligator sausage, grillades and grits, Cajun fried rice with crawfish, green onion sausage, andouille sausage Cajun scramble, and a pot of coffee.

The CO herb industry is way ahead of you. Every kind of candy, snack, etc... you can think of is already being produced.

Personally I think the stuff is made to be smoked, but who am I to tell folks what to do.

The Turkish underwear salesmen did a thriving business afterwards, that is for sure, and we haven't even mentioned the
    shrinkage factor.

I know at least one Major Aerospace company that still uses Fortran to model certain events. The govt. agency that oversees the project is quite happy with the use thereof, and the results. I've used it as recently as 8 yrs ago.

Not using punch cards anymore, but golly those were fun weren't they.

This post was not the result of reading back, it got caught is some sort of electronic limbo and didn't show up 'till this morning. It was actually written months before OSS posted his punchcard image below. Or possibly nothing like that at all. I blame the punchcards.

Yep, back then your software, was basically paper

I had a boom box, with a cassette tape player (remember those?) and cranked this song up when I was in punch card jail late at night doing ForTran. It made the time go by, and everybody liked it because it fit the circumstances at the time. LOL, the good old days. This will stretch your limits for sure T! I think it still works today after 30 plus years. Ya gotta have a dark room,, monitor, keypunch machine, and stereo speakers more than likely. This came from their Album " Computer World". They saw the future for sure.
