December/January – Abominable Weather Ahead?

Stick a fork in it, The Season of DOOM is over! Now it’s time to sit back by the fire and enjoy the Frosty days ahead, or not.
Long term predictions from the CPC are showing the south to be warm and dry through the winter…..

As we well know, it only takes one deep cold intrusion to freeze everything solid, especially in S. Fl. We’ll have to keep an eye on the radar and hope no blue blobs make it too far south.

Abominable weather ahead? I guess we'll just have to Bumble along to find out!

Good morning, afternoon and evening, everyjuan! Yep, a bit wet here this morning! Does this include the south again?

Breakfast’s on the sideboard: grit cakes with poached egg and white gravy, Deep fried mac and cheese on a stick, Crescent bacon breakfast ring, cheesy bacon and egg breakfast bombs, steak tip omelets with green peppers, onions, mushrooms with gravy, seasoned home fries, Belgian waffles with syrup or fruit, tea and coffee. Enjoy!

    Morning Aislinn!

Yes, to some extent, but I'm not seeing anything that is showing it getting as cold as last time, just 20's and 30's for you and no freezing to the coast. BreakFast Time!

I'll have grit cakes with poached egg and white gravy, Deep fried mac and cheese on a stick, Crescent bacon breakfast ring, cheesy bacon and egg breakfast bombs, steak tip omelets with green peppers, onions, mushrooms with gravy, seasoned home fries, and some coffee - TYVM and have a great day - stay dry!

Hey Cone, looks like this afternoon's class will be cancelled. We need the rain here, Smokey the Bear is still telling us the fire danger is moderate.

This drencheroo should with that. It's been pretty good down here for the dry season with more coming tomorrow/Monday.

We knew this Season was nasty and expensive - but wow......

    I dunno...
    He skates like a GIRL!
    (A VERY talented girl!)

However, my favorite skater has always been Brian Boitano.
Not only is he a great skater, he also saves mankind by defeating giant killer robots.

    "Bonnie" made the list!

Ooooops, ...or should I have not mentioned that Jaun? You know, in deference to our overly sensitive readers with PBSD. (Post Bonnie Stress Disorder™.)

There have been multiple tropical systems named B****e. I think the one that caused Mark such stress was in 2004. The one in 1998 hit the east coast.

Whew! That's a relief. Now I'm free to mention Bonnie, as long as it's not THAT Bonnie.

    Afternoon Peeps!

I did not know that Brian Boitano saved the world from killer bots, but he may have to do it again soon.

Just the mention of the name B****e causes severe trauma to those who were devastated by the sunburns and severe eye strain from all the glare off the flat calm seas. It was a terrible horrible thing, I'm glad that Dr. Mark is in Daytona and has no idea we have been speaking of it.

    Just hangin' with the locals....

Good morning, afternoon and evening, everyjuan! A fairly pleasant 55 degrees this morning. Of course, had I put a light coat or even a robe on when I went out in my pjs this morning it would probably have felt quite nice! This new temporary foster needs to learn she can go out in the yard without being escorted until she does her business!

Breakfast’s on the sideboard: Cheddar cheese grits casserole, Pancakes with buttered honey syrup, Praline pull apart bread, lemon blueberry Quinoa porridge, chicken fried steak with sausage gravy, fluffy biscuits, scrambled eggs muffin sliders, grits and grillades, Beignets, fresh fruit, tea and coffee. Enjoy

    Good Sunday Morning all!

I understand that new Foster Ais. Bunker has some separation anxiety issues as well. No worse than other Sheps I've had, but he definitely has them.

    Cone,
Thanks for re-posting the Goofonian cartoon. I did happen to see it on the previous page. I try to lurk at least Juance (or twice) a day, but I may not post each time I'm here.

    It's Sunday!
