As the last full month of winter rolls in the question remains – lots more frosty days ahead? Or, will severe season get an early start? The early bets look to be on more visits from the old man of the north.

After everyone thaws out a bit we’ll be on to severe season and the CPC thinks there will be some moistcha’ available…..

Time to watch the radar for frozen white invaders or AOD’s – pick your poison

Here in the bunker, we know where to go for any extreme weather event - To the nearest Bunker Bar

**** IMPORTANT NOTE **** The Bunker hosting runs out at the end of this month and provisions will need to be made if we are to extend our run of insanity.

Morning. Loved that vid Oss of the drunken break-in attempt. Idiot, lol

LC is the Forrest Gump of the Bunker. Started out with the intent to run across town, then to the county line, then to the state line. Next think you know he's on a pier overlooking the Pacific.

Kcubed - I could've offered you free lodging an hour north of Daytona with option #2 and BBQ to boot. Hit me up another time if in the area.

Possible .5 - 1" of rain in the forecats today. I'll be content if it verifies.

    Morning Aug!

Good luck with getting some today, just a slight chance down here.

Ais' Brunch-o-Cast - no more rain today.....

Rest Of Today: Not as cool. Partly sunny. Areas of fog in the morning. Highs in the mid 60s. North winds around 5 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 40s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

Good morning, afternoon and evening, everyjuan! A busy but pleasant morning, early breakfast at my son and daughter-in-law's house. I love rain on a day when I don't have to be outside teaching a class.

So now you can purchase a snowball from a vending machine...

Brunch is on the sideboard: Cheddar cheese grits casserole, Pancakes with buttered honey syrup, Praline pull apart bread, lemon blueberry Quinoa porridge, chicken fried steak with sausage gravy, fluffy biscuits, scrambled eggs muffin sliders, grits and grillades, Beignets, fresh fruit, tea and coffee. Enjoy!

    Morning Aislinn!

Those snowballs wouldn't last long down here, going to be 80 today.

    Brunchity Breakfast!

I'll have Cheddar cheese grits casserole, chicken fried steak with sausage gravy, fluffy biscuits, scrambled eggs muffin sliders, grits and grillades and I think I'll wash it down with a Bunker Mary. Feel free to help yourselves - it's Stooopid Bowl Sunday after all......

Hey Cone! LOL, nope, wouldn't last long but I could see people down there buying them for their kids! It could be your new pocket money if you set one up there! LOL

How about a Bunker Poll to see how we do with prognostication of the Super Bowl?

    Who do you think wins?

    A- Eagles

    B- Patriots

Poor fans should probably have waited till it came back to Miami! Yikes!

#SuperBowl temperatures still struggling to get above 0°F. Wind chills are colder than -20°F. Welcome to the land of 10,000 frozen lakes!

    Afternoon Oss and Barkeep!

I doubt that I'll watch any of the Stoopid Bowl - I have an aversion to the Patriots and the NFL in general these days.

AC is on and cranking down here, but that happens off and on all winter here.
  10. Landfall2004's Avatar
    AC on.

I'll take any team that doesn't have Brady, not that I'll be watching.
  11. Aislinn's Avatar
I'll not be watching. I'm not happy with the NFL players this year.
  12. StAugustineFL's Avatar
I've pretty much boycotted watching NFL games this year but decided to watch the SB. My pick prior to the game was Eagles 29, Patriots 24

I hope you picked it right

So, I deduce a 3 -0 count for the Eagles? You win, just like I did with the squares used for the 1st quarter! 4 bills baby!

    Good Morning Bunkerites!

Looking at the Goofy this morning and I don't see any freezes for the south, looks promising.

Yoop and Blakels are going to have to wait awhile

Good morning everyjuan. Another 4.8" of snew yesterday and 6 degrees this morning. Already have over 35" this season and most of it from clipper type systems.
  18. InTheCone's Avatar
    Morning Blakels!

Seems like there have been a lot of those clippers this year with more to come, but spring is coming! It's getting going down here and will be in full swing in the next week or 2, then it starts in march to the north.
  19. blakels's Avatar
I hope so, as of right now, we are not looking to be above freezing again until the middle of next week.

Good morning, afternoon and evening, everyjuan! Hey MSGAL! I''m happy to see football season over as well. So good to see you! 41 degrees here this morning and sunny.

Breakfast’s on the Sideboard: baked chicken and waffle sandwiches, sweet potato egg hash cups, French toast roll ups with syrup, bacon wrapped egg muffins, blueberry cream cheese breakfast braid, baked peppers stuffed with egg, bacon pieces, spinach, chopped onion, sausage bits and cheese, fresh fruit, tea or coffee. Enjoy!

Yay! Eagles won! And I hear Brady was pouting.

I am kinda liking this 60's weather--which is bad b/c by Wed. it will be summer again.

Hey, MSGal! We are going to Daytona, just because. I will miss Jr. I am trying to decide whether to wear my Jr. shirt, or my Sr. shirt. I have jewelry to match for either number.
  23. InTheCone's Avatar
    Morning MSG, Aislinn and LF!

I don't follow NASCAR so I don't know what happened to Jr. - did he retire? Sounds like Danica has quit, but I haven't been following what she's been doing, either.

I have to agree - very happy to see the end of the NFL. On to the olympics and baseball!

Better grab a quick breakfasty snack before it gets to be lunch time. I'll have some baked chicken and waffle sandwiches and coffee - TYVM Aislinn!

Have a great time in Daytona LF and I'm glad you're going - just because!

    Evening Peeps!

I will have to try and keep an eye out to see if they launch the heavy, sounds like they aren't too optimistic about it going to far and it could put on quite a show if it blows up

That spider's enough to cause anyJuan have nightmares, glad it's not alive now
