April/May:April Drencheroos & May Mayhem?

Tis’ the season for – rain & possibly some pre-tropical mischief, which means more – rain. Any which way we shake it out…..

Unless, of course, we have an epic drought – which seems likely in Fl. Then there’s the ’Naders wandering about causing mayhem, so we’ll have to keep an eye on the SPC maps….

More snoh for the north? Long term trends seem to think it’s going to be a chilly April, so gawking at the national radar to see what’s going on is always a good idea……

    FIRST! (after Cone)

Good morning Cone and thanks for the new blog.

It feels like it always flood or drought around here. The local mets keep trying to hype what little rain chances we have over the next few days. I ain't buying it.

Thanks for the fresh blog Cone.

Good stuff from 'Big-Joe' ya got linked there. He's put forth an interesting idea, to continue to use the analog years beyond the season. Seems he found the last analogs tracked temps post season, so he's talked about using them further, perhaps even stretching them into this season. An interesting notion, let's see how it pans out.

    Happy Easter all!

Eggs and bunnies are not the only thing to find today, how about a satellite?

Happy Easter, all. I have been busy cooking and cleaning up. The last of the crew have left, so I hopped on to say hello.

Oss,I keep getting timed-out. I guess the site has a lot of traffic.

I'm having a serious desire to devour several Reeses Eggs - good thing I don't have any laying around. Not even a chocolate bunny, which is also a good thing

I just hope that space station burns up right over me while I'm riding in the morning, I would love the show. I've been looking for UFO's for years to liven things up and all I ever see are airplanes and the occasional helicopter

I hope big Joe hits a grand slam from a local perspective with past anal logs. Looks relatively harmless in my back yard. Marley's Revenge and the Icky B weren't good for the BP.

This helps lower the BP though. I had to cut myself out for the most part to keep the site up and running.

Nice pic. Aug, they're so sweet when they're little! Then they get to be teenagers and the old BP really skyrockets.

I won't allow my picture to show up anywhere- probably cause the whole net to crash

    Good Morning Bunkerites!

Old Mr. Frosty doesn't want to quit this year - snoh and ice all the way down into TN. progged for this weekend. Unprecedented! Historic!

Good morning, afternoon and evening, everyjuan! It's cloudly, 61 and 100% humidity. It's beginning to feel a little like summer...

Breakfast’s on the sideboard: BLT egg bake, strawberry banana crepes, Broccoli ham quiche, mushroom sausage strata, green chili breakfast burrito casserole, sausage potato pie, creamed beef over toast, sausage, pepper and mushroom hash, sausage, gravy and egg sandwiches, donut bites, fresh fruit, tea or coffee. Morning Aislinn!

Crazy weather afoot these days - who woulda thunk it in the spring Snohy today and then severe tomorrow....

Ah well, may as well have breakfast and enjoy the mayhem.......

I'll have BLT egg bake, Broccoli ham quiche, mushroom sausage strata, sausage potato pie, creamed beef over toast, sausage, pepper and mushroom hash, sausage, gravy and egg sandwiches, and coffee - TYVM!

No burning bits of flying by on my ride this morning, it went down last evening somewhere over the Pacific - Sigh. The moon was out and that was pleasant, but I'm still looking for a UFO

Hey, Cone! With your eagle eyes and determination I'm sure you will find it. Perhaps it's weather related. I think they're missing a large piece of investigation. I couldn't find one single study on if weather has any effect on UFOs. Do they come when it's a full moon? A crescent moon? Three days after a thunderstorm? Two days before a snowstorm? If it hails in Kentucky, are they seen in Nevada? Where are the studies??!!

Passes large platter of BLT egg bake, Broccoli ham quiche, mushroom sausage strata, sausage potato pie, creamed beef over toast, sausage, pepper and mushroom hash, sausage, gravy and egg sandwiches, and a pot of coffee.

Morning. Here is an interesting tidbit on , IFO's, identified flying objects, that I was not aware of. It provides a whole new light on finding Nemo!

I found this interesting: "In future, most spacecraft will be "designed for demise" with materials that melt at lower temperatures, making them far less likely to survive re-entry and hit Earth's surface."

Umm--if they burn up on the way in, wouldn't there be a chance they would burn up or be damaged on the way out?

After rain and more rain, the weekend was cool, then cold, then this morning I woke up to 3" of snoe on everything but the roads.
There was ice on some bridges out in the boon docks, but pretty much dry elsewhere in the NW Ohio area.
I was busy cleaning the house we were staying in and then moved to a hotel and then I had to download a bunch of software to use on a job today 45 minutes away from my hotel where I am spending time with my son who I don't get to visit often.
So, I didn't have a chance to get on the blog.

i did manage to avoid posting post blog, on the old blog. So I got that going for me.

I like a cool room, but my son is a polar bear. I am freezing! Of course spending a month in the tropics, EVERYWHERE is cold! But when you nose is running from the cold, I think it may be a bit too cool.

It's a hotel with fancy hard (fake) wood floors. I need eskimo boots just to sit and type on the computer!

Anyway, it's late so, I will catch up sometime tomorrow, I have to get up early and go back and do some more servo tuning and stuff.

    Cheers!

    Good Morning Bunkerites!

Yep, if your nose is running that's too cold - brrrr! You can't even go outside to get warm, and it's still raining if the radar is correct Doesn't look too nice for Blakels or Yoop, either. I think Yoop is heading across the pond any day now, probably feel tropical over there after a winter in Yooperland.

    AM radar....

I'm not sure where Triple K is in Ohio, but it could be rather Doomish later today.....
