    I took these from the apartment at Carrollwood, Tampa. It was very difficult for me to take this shots but this is what I got.

    MSGAL, Can't believe it! Camille was what made me a weather geek too! I was also a teen. I could not believe the power of that Cane. I was living in Wisconsin at the time, our weather was mostly blizzards and an occasional tornado. Never thought I'd experience a hurricane, until Charley hit Florida on August 13, 2004, a Cat 4

    Good stuff Weatherfan. Once this blog passes, you can always utilize the "albums" tab and post pictures. I have a few of my own but nothing that spectacular.

    That is an amazing picture. There were other excellent ones from that volcano eruption earlier this year but having trouble finding them. Once I do I will post them. Thanks for the blog.

    Most peeps call me Aug so you can abbreviate the handle if you wish.

    Yes, the photo's are from St Augustine about 10-12 miles inland as the crow flies.

    Beryl was a non-event in my area. I don't think the wind gusted over 30mph and total rainfall was 3.73". I've had more than double that with the frontal boundary and/or seabreeze storms the past 8-9 days.
